Account Manager

Pyramid8 have an exciting opportunity with a company based in Sherburn who specialise in Generator Repair, Installation and Maintenance. Due to growth they are recruiting an Account Manager position to join their UK sales team.

As an Account Manager you will:

• Pro-actively seek new business.
• Qualify incoming sales opportunities to ensure time is spent in the right areas to deliver results.
• Apply various sales skills to capitalise on commercial opportunities through negotiation.
• Maintain a high level of pro-active contact with both existing and prospective customers.
• Effectively deal with Generator sales and project enquiries requesting quotations, compiling information on the desired requirements.
• Create technically detailed quotations.
• Present enquiries within given timescales.
• Proactively chase sales quotations with a strong desire to close.
• Meet and exceed the agreed specific performance objectives and sales targets.
• Maximise sales by continually expanding orders and up selling.
• Be able to update CRM systems and interrogate the reporting functions.
• Visit key accounts proactively.
• Attend site visits as required.

To apply for this role, you must:

• Have previous experience in a Sales/Account Manager position working with products worth between £20K to £500K (ideally from the same industry).
• Have excellent IT skills, CRM proficient.
• Be target driven and ambitious.

In return you will receive a basic salary of up to £35K with a commission structure which is paid monthly. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm.
