Programme Manager

Pyramid8 are currently working on behalf of a Healthcare organisation based across the Wakefield area. They provide healthcare services across the region on behalf of the NHS. They are looking for a Programme Manager to work as part of a team on the implementation of a new service.

The programme manager’s role is to coordinate this provision and work with the providers to ensure consistency, quality and accessibility of service across the Wakefield district. The manager will also work with the providers to continually review and develop the service to ensure that it meets the needs of the young people it is designed to serve. The manager will proactively engage with other statutory/VCSE organisations to ensure that the Future Selph service is publicised and is well integrated into the young people’s mental health offer and network of provision n Wakefield.

The manager will also coordinate and compile a monthly information report for the Board, detailing activity, referral and outcome data, as well as coordinating and facilitating regular provider workshops for the providers.

A key aspect of the role will be to conduct annual assurance appraisals of the providers, and to agree/advise on contract arrangements. The manager will also have day to day oversight of the overall budget and work with the Head of Finance to ensure that funds are allocated and used appropriately.

This multi-faceted role requires an experienced manager who has skills in programme coordination, service delivery, contracting, user and provider engagement, reporting and service management. Experience of working with small to medium providers, including those from the VCSE sector is key to this role.

The programme manager should have a background in service delivery and business skills, including management, budgeting and analysis. They will be an excellent communicator and

comfortable managing multiple tasks. They will also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.

Programme Manager Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, administration, or related field.
• Previous experience in service management and/or commissioning/contracting may be advantageous.
• Computer literacy and good organizational skills.
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
