Account Manager / Commercial AssistantFeatherstone, £20,000 - £25,000 Permanent
We are currently recruiting for one of our clients who specialise in Civil Engineering. They are looking to grow their business development team by recruiting a Commercial Assistant / Account Manager to join their Featherstone office.
The role of a Commercial Assistant:
• Make regular and scheduled outbound customer contact to selected Key Accounts and Regional customers
• Supporting Business Development Manager and achieve required KPI targets
• Secure appointments for Business Development Managers
• Creating, maintaining and updating a database of potential customers
• Updating the CRM system with activities and pipeline
• Upselling products and services to clients
• Identify and act on sales opportunities through market intelligence
• Perform Monthly campaigns set out in team meetings.
• Promoting products, services and brands to increase sales
You will receive product training, however they are looking for an experienced business developer than can come in and hit the ground running.
There will be ongoing support on a day to day basis from the Business Development Manager.
• Need to be hardworking, driven and ambitious
• Need to have outbound and inbound telephone experience
• Able to plan your work diary on a day to day basis
• Previous telesales experience calling new or warm business
• Experience of working with CRM systems and confident using databases
• Previous industry knowledge with Infrastructure/Civil Engineering/Management of contractors
• Able to use various networking websites for example: LinkedIn, Twitter
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm.
