Our client is a small fleet management company serving clients throughout the UK. They provide tailored solutions and offer a unique personal service not generally available throughout this industry.
They are looking to recruit a sales specialist to take over the responsibilities of the incumbent Sales Director who plans to retire from the business within the next 18-24 months. The successful Business Development Manager / Sales Executive applicant is likely to have experience within the sector, a good understanding of modern fleet management practices and an understanding of the claims process associated with motor vehicles.
Our client is a privately owned business and has developed an enviable base of quality clients since its launch in 2009. All of the business growth has been derived through referrals relying upon the excellent service levels that they provide to entice new customers. As a small family run business, they are in a position to offer bespoke levels of service and reporting, a feature that most of their competitors are unable to match.
The role in sales is all encompassing and includes ongoing account management, operating as the lead point of contact for any, and all matters specific to your accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships and overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit opportunities.
The business has thrived as a result of providing a totally ethical service and where required offering an open book process to their clients. Their objective is always to retain clients for life, and this is only achieved if all parties are being treated fairly and with respect.
As a privately owned business my client believes that the most effective and motivated managers are those that have a real stake in the success of the business. Their intention is to extend this opportunity to the successful candidate by providing a share incentive scheme that will allow the right manager who meets certain agreed objectives to acquire a substantial shareholding in the company.
The package will be dependent upon experience however they anticipate a salary range from £25k to £30k plus bonus, giving an initial OTE of £35k to £40k.
