Conveyancing AssistantLeeds, £17,000 - £21,000 Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a well-established Solicitors who has offices in Leeds, Sheffield and York. They are looking to expand their conveyancing team, and are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant.
• Liaising with clients by phone, email, letter etc. where you will be required to identify issues / matters relating to their files and receiving instructions.
• The role includes liaising with estate agents, mortgage brokers, other solicitors, HM Land Registry and others as appropriate to the particular matters.
• You will also be required to perform research into legal documents and records, so you should have the ability to analyse large amounts of data, as well as having good organisational skills and excellent communication skills.
Working hours: Monday to Friday.
You must have at least 1 - 2 years experience.
Ideal candidates will have the CLC qualification or have attained a degree (or equivalent) in any discipline (a law degree is not essential) as we believe this will give you the experience needed to carry out this role. Previous experience within a Law Firm is preferential but not essential providing the candidate can demonstrate potential to be trained into this role.
This role is perfect for candidates looking to start at Conveyancing Assistant level and progress in time to a Conveyancer / Licenced Conveyancer.
