We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary/Assistant to work for a well-known solicitor based in the Birstall/Batley area.

They are a dedicated Law firm that have many offices in Morley, Batley, Birstall, Cleckheaton and Brighouse, and Leeds city centre.

Hours of work are: Monday to Thursday, 9.00am-5.30pm, Friday 9.00am-5.00pm

The Conveyancing Secretary/Assistant role:

• Dealing with Case Management Systems
• General administration duties
• Answering the telephone
• Completions,
• Conducting searches,
• Typing various letters
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, referrers and estate agents
• Assist case handlers
• Audio Typing and Word Processing
• Dealing with banking and payments

This role will be an assistant role, however our client would consider a Conveyancing Secretary who has at least 2 years’ experience working within a busy conveyancing office who wants to move up to an assistant role.

The role will be supported, and you will be working along side a fee earner managing residential caseloads.
