We are recruiting for a Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive for one of the UK’s most successful independent, IT, Cloud & Managed Services Providers. The business split across four main focus areas of: Technology Solutions, Cyber Security, Cloud Solutions, and Communications.
Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive - Role & Responsibilities:
• Sales Professional possessing experience of selling IT solutions /services to commercial originations with a track record of sales achievement
• The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the IT market and a background of selling solutions that could encompass:
o Server and desktop consolidation and virtualisation
o Storage (SAN and NAS) and backup
o Managed IT Services
o IT Support solutions
o Hosted Cloud and Hosting Solutions
o Security and Firewall solutions
o Communications Infrastructure and Hosted Telephony
o Proactive generation of own leads within your territory
o Proactive follow up of leads generated by our marketing campaigns to supplement own activity including the business development of new leads.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
• At least 3 years in direct field-based sales role
• Experience with selling datacentre technologies and cloud services
• Server, storage and end-point technologies.
• Experience in complex managed services sales
• Instinctive sales knowledge
• Excellent relationship skills
• Entrepreneurial mind-set
• Winning spirit
• Monday to Friday between 09:00-17:30
• Up to £40,000 basic salary plus generous commission.
