Intensive Support Worker

Pyramid8 is working in partnership with a Yorkshire based charity, that works with a variety of individuals in the local area that assists homeless adults with accommodation and support.  As the portfolio of housing expands, we are looking for an Intensive Support Worker to join the team.

This newly created position is backed with local government funding to offer intensive support to those individuals who struggle to comply with housing rules.  You will work closely with up to 8 people at any one time.  You will be aware of different agencies and work with them to deal with those referrals and ensure criteria and expectations are being met.   

As expected, you will have a genuine passion for helping others, with a supportive nature.  It’s essential that you have been a Support Worker previously and worked with vulnerable adults.   

To be considered, you will have a full UK driving licence, so you can drive company vehicles to different residential locations.  This position is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility needed during the winter months.  The starting salary for this vacancy is £24K.
