Pyramid8 are recruiting for an experienced operational / office manager for a leading organisation who provide financial services. You will be confident and a team player and be able to manage a team and have the ambition to help achieve the business goals.

Personal attributes

The ideal candidate for the office manager / operational manager will be someone who has significant experience in working in data administration. They will be highly competent in all areas of business management and naturally inclined to take responsibility for ensuring a high standard of performance is achieved, applying discretion and confidentiality that is appropriate to the task. 

You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and administration skills and personally engage in any activity the business may require.

You will have a sound work ethic and will be able to work both independently and collaboratively.

You will demonstrate ambition to develop the business and themselves. They will be keen to develop strategies for business growth and have the ability to implement business plans with successful effect to ensure increase profits in the long term.

Role purpose and responsibilities    

  • To manage the operations of the business. The activities and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • To maintain a high level of confidentiality, trust and confidence, working in collaboration with the Managing Director to achieve growth and development of the Company in all areas such as sales, customer service, employee engagement and compliance.
  • Ensure the Company and all staff are compliant with mandatory and regulatory rules and implement new policies as they become effective.
  • Manage a compliant complaints procedure
  • Provide management information and reporting for all business operations to the Managing Director at regular intervals and as and when required.
  • Completion of FCA reporting when required.
  • Responsible for training of new team members and existing team.
  • Maintain and administer changes that are required to the inhouse system to ensure compliance and best practice
  • Be responsible for ensuring that the Company maintains a thorough and successful training and competency programme across the business
  • Manage and administer health and safety processes and procedures required across the business
  • Develop, implement and improve office policies and procedures
  • Ensure the smooth running of all I.T and telecoms systems

Any other tasks and activities that may be required to ensure the success and development of the Company
