Our client is one of the largest health and social care providers in the UK, and they are looking for caring, committed and passionate Deputy Manager / Assistant Care Manager in the Stoke area.

You will look after a couple of small services which support both male and female adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, including diagnoses of personality disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and a history of risk to themselves or others.

Service users are supported with 24-hour staffing and access to in-house positive behaviour support to help with their emotional and general wellbeing.

Your role as a Deputy Manager will involve supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or Mental Health Disorders and complex needs in a residential care environment and out in the community providing a high standard of care and support.

You will be assisting the Home Manager in the operation of a residential care home. Your duties will include development, implementation and monitoring of individual care plans, assisting with staff supervision and administrative control and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes of practice and legislation.

The position requires extensive knowledge, including supervisory experience working in Adult Social Care. You will need to have a professional approach with the ability to organise and prioritise. Good knowledge of relevant codes of practice and legislation.
