The Interim Deputy Director of Workforce and Organisational Development will be responsible for delivering a business focussed professional Workforce and OD function including the day to day line management of specified service. You will be a qualified and experienced HR/OD profoessional and have extensive NHS experience at band 8 or above.
• To deputise for the Director of Workforce and OD across the full range of professional, strategic and corporate activities, internally and externally.
• To support the Director of Workforce and OD in the development and delivery of an Organisational Development Strategy and the People Strategy to ensure that effective organisational arrangements and capacity are in place. This includes developing appropriate systems, processes, structures and roles to ensure continuous development of the organisation and delivery of objectives.
• To support the Director of Workforce and OD in developing and implementing an appropriate, effective and comprehensive range of HR and OD policies, leading the development and implementation of policies in specific areas of job responsibility within the general direction set by the Director.
