Pyramid8 are working with an expert telecommunications company who are looking for an additional member to join their 1st Line Support team.
This role involves providing 1st Line Support to customers via telephone and email, being the first point of contact for resolving software/hardware issues and faults. In doing this you will use an inhouse ticketing system to log and follow up jobs to the Technical Support Team, also assisting with administration duties. When required you will need to support other departments such as Sales Support and Mobile & Billing.
To apply for this 1st Line Support position, you are required to have a track record of excellent telephone customer service with a passion to work within ICT and Telecoms. You must be computer literate, having strong IT skills including Microsoft Office components. In addition, you will have a keen eye for detail and be able to problem solve under pressure.
This is an office-based role in Wakefield, working hours Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm, with the option of working on call every 1 in 6 weeks at an overtime rate. The company offers you 20 days + statutory days holidays, in addition you will gain an extra day’s holiday per year up to 25 days. Other benefits include a break and kitchen area, onsite parking, and extensive room for progression such as 2nd Line Support and training to work within the Engineering department. Salary is dependent on experience ranging from £18K - £22K.
