Pyramid8 are working with a leading supplier in the food distribution industry. They are recruiting for an additional enthusiastic member of their Customer Service Team who will manage a number of clients dealing with all customer service queries.

Our client is looking for an Enthusiastic Person to work for our well-established family owned and managed distribution company based near Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds. You will be working as part of a small team in a fast-paced modern Business Environment, where high quality standards are implemented throughout the business. This is a permanent vacancy within a growing company.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be mainly responsible for contacting customers using a sage 200 database to generate sales orders and upsell products, you will also be responsible for resolving customer queries, processing administration and supporting our business development managers who are out on the road. You must possess excellent telephone communication skills and have a friendly outgoing approach.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a portfolio of Clients ensuring they are contacted in a timely manner.
  • Handling Customer Queries and reporting on CRM.
  • Generating credits which involves working closely with Transport & Stock Controller

. • Producing sales quotations to support the BDM.

  • Product sampling with the occasional requirement to attend supplier events.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience within a customer service department and can upsell.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Outstanding organisation skills.
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel and Outlook)
