Finance Assistant – Part Time

Pyramid8 are delighted to be supporting a local, family run stone and brickwork firm in Castleford, that’s seeking a Finance Assistant to join its team due to expansion.  The business is going from strength to strength, is highly regarded and holds several industry accreditations. 

In summary, your role will involve purchase & sales ledger, bank reconciliation, payroll, year-end accountants, VAT, invoices, and sub-contractor payments. 

To be considered, you will have a keen eye for detail, be able to prioritise your workload efficiently and multi-task an array of accountancy tasks.  You will be qualified by experience in a similar role, using Sage 50, professional qualifications such as AAT would be advantageous, but not essential.  As this is a family run firm, the environment is friendly, relaxed and everyone rolls their sleeves up when necessary to get a job done. 

This is a part time opportunity, circa 24 hours per week at £13 per hour.  This is an office-based position, close to Airedale, with on-site parking.
