Hire Desk Controller / Administrator

Pyramid8 is recruiting for a Hire Desk Controller / Hire Desk Administrator for a large industrial rental company based in Normanton. They supply and install equipment all industries, from Hospitals, festivals, renewable energy, telecoms, general construction and is the largest supplier to the utilities sector.

The company has experienced rapid growth in recent years and is undergoing further expansion providing an excellent opportunity for a number of Hire Desk Controllers / Administrators to join their team at Normanton Industrial Estate.

They are looking for a confident individual with strong administration skills, experience in Hire Desk Control is not essential as full training will be provided.

Role

• Responsible for the smooth running of Key Accounts and General Orders
• Ensure all on/off hire orders are taken in detail and processed correctly
• Create, input and ensure accuracy of orders onto the company system to minimise account queries and potential credits.
• Produce and maintain a manual complete contract file, containing all relevant paperwork including signed delivery and collection notes.
• Advise Transport Department of any necessary movements within a timely manner.
• Ensure relevant spreadsheets (as applicable) are updated daily/weekly
• Ability to communication with different departments effectively

Experience

• GCSE in Maths and English
• You will be confident with IT especially Excel
• You will be a confident and effective communicator both verbally and via e-mail
• Have the ability to work well under pressure and using your initiative
