Pyramid8 are supporting a business based in Normanton for a proactive and organised HR Executive to support their Head of HR in delivering an effective and people-focused HR function within our growing business based in Normanton.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and wants to make a real impact in a business of around 70–80 employees.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a key role in supporting both the strategic and day-to-day HR activities across the organisation. You’ll be involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the company’s people strategy
  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Assist with onboarding and induction of new employees
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Provide first-line support on employee relations matters
  • Assist with performance management and wellbeing initiatives
  • Help ensure compliance with employment law and internal processes
  • Support payroll administration (where required)

About You

  • Previous experience in an HR role (HR Officer / HR Executive level)
  • Good understanding of UK employment law and HR practices
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive, adaptable and willing to get involved in all aspects of HR
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 (desirable)
