Inspection Engineer – Lifting

They are recruiting for an Inspection Engineer with experience of lifting inspections, you will deliver day to day delivery of lifting and mechanical testing and inspections.
They are a small friendly company who are growing and looking for an enthusiastic individual who will work with an experienced team of individuals working in the live production sectors. Working with Theatres, Schools, Exhibition Centres to provide high quality lighting and sound solutions.
The role is based in Sherburn however you will be expected to travel and there will be some out of hours work and overnight stays.
This Role is subject to a DBS Check
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out scheduled inspections (LOLER and PUWER)
- Assisting with EICR and PAT inspections
- Completion of associated reports
- Assisting with reactive maintenance and repairs
- Assisting with installation projects

- equipment used on stages
- be practical and hands on

In order to meet these responsibilities the post holder must be able to demonstrate
- a current, full UK driving license
- Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) Accreditation (or
- similar)
- a good level of IT literacy
- basic numeracy and literacy skills
It would also be advantageous, but not essential, for the post holder to have:
- experience within the entertainment industry
- a good understanding of electrical systems used on stages
- the ability to fault find sound, lighting and video systems
- a valid CSCS card
- up to date IPAF, PASMA and counterbalance forklift licenses
- PAT qualification
