This company specialise in Domiciliary care, in and around Wakefield and Kirklees. They are seeking a Recruitment Co-ordinator to join their team in Wakefield.
As the Recruitment Co-ordinator you will be responsible for managing and implementing all recruitment plans & strategies. You will use social media and other platform to advertise current vacancies, manage the response from the adverts, select suitable candidates and arrange interviews. For new staff, you will be responsible for obtaining references, ensuring all DBS checks are verified and relevant paperwork is completed, in doing this you will keep all staff files up to date with all required information. You are required to complete all administrative tasks around the recruitment process. You will manage the planning, preparing, and delivering of inductions and other necessary training for Care Assistants, Supervisors, and Office Staff. You will be required to ensure you keep a track of ongoing and completed training. You will be responsible for arranging and attending careers fairs and other recruitment events to promote the company. You will also be a key point of contact for internal & external stakeholders.
This role will be ideal for someone who has an interest in recruitment, and a passion for care. Someone who is well organised and can manage own workload. You will need to be computer literate and have a good understanding of Domiciliary Care. Recruitment experience is desirable, but not essential.
This role will be primarily office-based Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, although you will be required to travel to recruitment events, meaning a full driver’s licence and own vehicle is essential. Starting salary is £21K, with a commission-based bonus scheme. There will be opportunities for salary reviews.
