Pyramid8 are working with a Social Enterprise, Health and Wellbeing Services Provider to recruit an Operational Service Lead. The Operational Service Lead will be responsible for the leadership, delivery, and development of their Place Based Face to Face, Urgent Care and associated services. Nurturing a culture of compassion and care alongside high performance throughout the business unit, will be the foundation of your day-to-day work.

You will need to understand the population health needs and the commissioning intentions of each place they service within Yorkshire; translating these into service delivery models and emergent growth strategy, will be essential to the success of this role. You will ensure Place based Operational Managers are supported appropriately to deliver high quality responsive services.

Working closely with the Lancashire Place Lead and colleagues in their Virtual Care Business Unit you will ensure that there are high levels of operational flexibility across units to meet changes in demand, both in real time and planned / forecast.

  • To be responsible for staff experience in the department, you will work with internal stakeholders to ensure that they are cared for, supported, and included.
  • To be operationally accountable for the individual Place(s) within the department.
  • To work with the Place Based Care Lead and appropriate Operational Managers to ensure that services are meeting (as a minimum) national standards, contractual obligations and KPIs, and where this is not achieved plans are created, actioned and monitored to ensure compliance.
  • To establish and maintain strong links with wider health and social care communities through securing their active involvement in the effective delivery of our services, including (but not exclusive) ICB, Acute Trust specialities, Place colleagues, NWAS, YAS, UCR teams, EDs, SDEC, Primary Care.
  • To be an active participant in local health and social care system management, ensuring we can react and help meet the needs of each system they work in; ensuring you maintain their reliable deliverers of care reputation.
  • To assist the Place Based Lead, Chief Futurist and Clinical Heads of Service and Transformation to continually develop the service offer, ensuring the new technologies or working practices are continuously assessed and that where they enhance patient journeys, improve operational efficiencies, or improve clinical quality they are implemented.

Experience

Desirable

  • Experience in a managerial or highly skilled role
  • Analysis and report writing skills
  • Digitally savvy
  • Experience of writing policies and procedures.
  • Information Governance, understanding and awareness.
  • Understanding of employment law
  • Experience of working across multiple services.
  • Experience of working autonomously and on own initiative
