Shipping Coordinator

Our client is looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join their busy Supply Chain team in Wakefield. This is a varied role where you'll support international shipments, coordinate deliveries, liaise with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders, and help ensure products reach customers on time. 

What you'll be doing:

• Coordinating import shipments from overseas suppliers and factories
• Managing shipping documentation and shipment records
• Liaising with freight forwarders and internal departments
• Processing invoices, payments, and customer dispatches
• Booking deliveries and updating internal systems
• Supporting stock control and year-end stock takes

What we're looking for:

• Strong Excel skills
• Good working knowledge of Word and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
