Pyramid8 are recruiting for an experienced Stock Controller for an FMCG Production business outside of Leeds. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Stock Controller who has worked in a faced paced environment to ISO Standards.
As a stock controller you will be reporting to the senior stock controller supporting them with the main duties below.
- Dealing with any Purchase order queries, such as damages and short dated deliveries, from delivery through to receipt of credit and return/disposal of stock.
- Help Customer services and warehouse teams with stock discrepancies and make necessary amendments on the Sage System.
- Assist with stock takes, with a view to improving and streamlining the system. Manage the preparation for stock take to ensure an accurate stock take.
- Responsible for short dated, Damaged or Quarantined stock, and making sure these are dealt with in line with company procedure.
- Keeping the customer service team up to date of delays so that customers can be informed.
- Responsibility for processing purchase delivery notes in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that any shortages or discrepancies are dealt with correctly.
- Managing customer complaint cases on Sage CRM. Relaying relevant information to suppliers, to ensure a prompt & thorough response.
- Helping out with all aspects of the warehouse as and when required.
- Unloading of deliveries, checking condition of goods received
- Storing goods in correct locations ready for picking in good condition.
- Record batch codes & best before dates as part of the booking in process.
- Replenish stock creating pallet spaces & record movement.
- Responsibility for hygiene and housekeeping within the warehouse.
- Preparing orders for customer collections throughout the day.
- Lifting at height using reach & Counterbalance Trucks.
- Adhering to all health and safety rules and food regulations
