Laura Stephenson and William Braidwood are our Legal Consultants. Between them they have over 15 years’ experience in recruitment and together they work side by side to provide a dedicated recruitment service to both candidates and clients. Both Laura and William have continued to speak with clients and candidates during this time which has been the most important factor in understanding the Legal market and how they can best offer their support.

It has been a real eye opener to understand how firms have adapted to this incredible situation but also understand their plans for the next six months. It seems we are all still finding the best way to adapt and push through. We're finding that the Legal
market is buoyant, and whilst acquisition levels are not yet what they were pre-lockdown,
we are seeing definite movement, more chatter and an uplift in roles. The candidate market is extremely high, and we are also now connecting and sourcing some exceptional candidates across all levels and all domains who would not of previously seen themselves looking for a new role” Laura continues, “What we want is to continue to provide our clients and candidates with a really strong support service and partnership.
Whether that's from ad-hoc recruitment, full campaigns and assessment centers to keeping really strong and valuable connections, offering any advice at this time.”

A word from Will:
“The last few months have been both an interesting and challenging time, with lots of uncertainty shaping people’s decision-making around their roles. Initially candidates came to the market unsure of their future and with few secure options available to them.
Now there's definitely more positivity and firms are starting to revisit previous and new opportunities and review growth and sustainability plans.” Will sees plenty of opportunities on their way. “I've seen a huge change in organisations, embracing flexibility, technology and working with their teams to enable effective home working and reduced office time. I think the most important thing is to support firms during this period and work with them to understand their needs whilst helping them understand the market
and candidates' changing perspective around the working environment.
I'm genuinely excited about the opportunities available, and adopted by businesses and teams of flexibility, technology, and productivity. The widespread adoption of video conferencing tools across different platforms is brilliant and presents loads of possibility”
